The people, their caring, their sharing of joy and sorrow. The comfort and joy of worshiping in this beautiful church. I feel God's Holy presence in this place.

The extremely warm and friendly community - it's a real family who's with you through good times and bad. They welcome children and make them an important part of their community.

When we first came to St. John's we were impressed with how friendly and open everyone was to us. Later we found out about "Infinite respect for one another...radical hospitality for the world". This first impression of friendliness is the expression of a core value of this parish.

The Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist :
What a beautiful little white church on the hill means to me.

First and foremost it is a house of God where a family of faith gathers. We gather to collectively worship God the Father, Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The church is a sanctuary where one may approach the mysteries of faith in solitude, but never really alone.

St. John the Baptist is an open, inclusive church, a welcoming church where scripture, tradition and reason are cherished. A true Holy catholic church of Jesus the Christ. Come break bread with us, come pray with us, come stay with us. Know what it is to be loved by God.
